Core Rules v1.2: Class names
I’ve been honing and reworking a bunch of rules for the system and just about have v1.2 ready. I’m still trying to settle on class names and a few other bits. Originally I used fighters, priest, magic-users, and knaves. Now I’m wondering if I just should have used the more predictable fighters, priests, wizards, and rouges. The former has more character but the later is more recognizable. Meh, I’ll settle on one set by the time I’m done.
While I was mulling them over I expanded the archetypes for each. it’s honestly one of my favorite parts of the whole book. Early versions of D&D had nonsensical titles for levels and I always loved them. It felt so much cooler to call your character a footpad or conjurer rather than a generic thief or magic user.
